User and Roles

Users and Roles module is where you can manage your users and roles. We will describe the Users and Roles modules in detail here in this section.

Users

Users can be managed from the Users module page.

Users Module

User Structure

User includes the below fields.

  • First Name (Required)

  • Last Name (Required)

  • Role (Required)

  • Email (Required)

  • Mobile No (Required)

  • Password (Required, at least eight characters long and containing at least one special character and one number)

All the fields are required. Enter a 10-digit mobile number. Only numbers are allowed. Password should be at least eight characters long and contain at least one special character and one number.

Editing User

You can use the editor to edit a User.

User Editor

Using the editor, you can add a new Users, edit the existing Users.

Changing Users Password

To change the password, select the Change Password option from the Actions kebab menu.

Enter the new password and click on the Save Changes button.

Roles

Roles can be managed from the Roles module page.

Roles Module

Role Structure

Role includes the below fields.

  • Role Name (Required)

  • Description

  • Permissions (refer to the Permissions section below for more details on permissions)

Editing Role

You can use the role editor to edit a Role.

Role Editor

Using the editor, you can add a new Role, edit the existing Role.

Predefined Roles

We have predefined below roles for Users module.

Admin Role

Admin role has read, create, update and delete permissions for all the modules.

Blog Author

Blog Author role has read, create, update permissions for the Blog module.

SEO Manager

SEO manager has Read, Create and Update permissions for below-listed modules.

Viewer Role

Viewer role has read permissions for all the modules.

Permissions Modules

Available permission modules are described in this section in detail you can assign Read, Create, Update and Delete for a particular module in Role Editor.

Pages Permission Module

Pages permission module grants access to Page related data management like creating new pages, editing existing pages, deleting pages, etc..

Newsletter Entries Permission Module

Newsletter Entries permission module grants access to a Newsletter Entries section from where the user can check and download the newsletter subscription list.

Enquiries Permission Module

Enquiry permission module grants access to an Enquiries section from where the user can check and download the visitor enquiry list.

Newsletter Permission Module

Newsletter permission module grants access to Newsletter related data management like creating Newsletters, editing existing Newsletter, deleting Newsletter, etc.

Conferences Permission Module

Conferences permission module grants access to Conference-related data management like creating Conference, editing existing Conference, deleting Conference, etc.

Media permission module grants access to Media Gallery where user can upload new media, edit existing media, delete media, etc.

Media Coverage Permission Module

Media Coverage permission module grants access to Media Coverage-related data management like creating Media Coverage records, editing existing Media Coverage records, deleting Media Coverage records, etc.

Banners permission module grants access to Banners data management like creating Banners, editing existing Banners, deleting Banners, etc.

Settings permission module grants access to the Settings module where the user can manage the settings of the website like favicon, colors, defaults, etc.
